The SDSSAA Girls’ Hockey coaches met on September 26th and twelve schools have confirmed their intention to participate.  The league’s exhibition season is set to open as early as October 21st while the regular season will get underway on November 11th.  The 2024-2025 season marks the 33rd season of high school hockey in Sudbury with the Marymount Regals recording the first ever playoff championship back in 1993.

Thursday, October 10th will feature the first ever fully sanctioned Mountain Biking championship to be hosted at Kivi Park, with races set to commence at 10am.  Where just three years ago, the sport of Mountain Biking began as an invitational with just a handful of schools and less than forty riders, it has now mushroomed to thirteen schools and over seventy riders!  Good luck to all participants at this first…
